Everywhere I look now,
Is such full of empty gaps.
There is a gap where your hand should be in mine,
And a gap where you should stare into my eyes.
There is a gap in my heart,
A gap in my breath,
There is always a pause,
Ever since you left.
Its funny how quickly things move on,
I know if it was you with this hole,
The world would be ordered to stop still,
But I’m meant to suffer in silence.
Equality,
Wasn’t promised me and nor should it be to you.
Round, round, round,
The thoughts, the memories,
What is worse?
Memories or reminders?
I’m choosing both,
You don’t know what my heart desires.
I ask the questions,
You provide the answers.
You make the hole,
And I seem to fill the gaps.
Always the gaps,
Forever to the gaps,
Cause those gaps would have to be filled with you,
And I, surprisingly don’t want them too.
